Welcome to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church of Dorchester

At Mary’s, our mission is to:

Celebrate God’s Rhythm
Delight in God’s Flavor
Unite with God’s Power

We live to enrich our community, and invite you to come and engage with us!

We have three Sunday services:
9:00am Intimate and contemplative, this service is for those who find God in quiet spaces.
11:00am In Episcopal/Anglican style with international flavor, this service is followed by a delicious brunch in the parish hall (bilingual English/Spanish on first Sundays of the month)
1:00pm In Spanish and very upbeat, this service is for everyone who wants to celebrate our community’s diversity, regardless of Spanish ability. (except for first Sundays of the month)

No matter how you choose to engage with St Mary’s, you’ll find God in the people you encounter as we will see God’s magnificence in you.

From The Reverend Edwin Johnson:
Rev. Edwin JohnsonPatrick, one of our vestry members said it best when he said: “St. Mary’s, where you’ll never leave hungry.” If you are hungry for a deeper connection with God, a welcoming faith community, an opportunity to worship with others or even just some new friends, St. Mary’s is a place you can come. Between our Sunday Brunch, dinner outings and our Food Pantry we do our best to make sure that all leave well fed in every sense of the word. Whether you are a lifelong Christian, coming off a break from church or have never gone to church we are excited to meet you as you bring an insight into God and our world that we will need as we strive to serve Dorchester and the wider community as best we can.
